The Furrion Chill Cube low-profile RV rooftop air conditioner is built with variable speed compressor technology that gives you control over power consumption. Unlike single-speed systems that run at full power or shut off completely, this system can “gear down” to reduced output levels, using up to 50% or 75% less power when full cooling isn’t needed. This makes it ideal for off-grid setups or generator use, helping extend runtime and improve overall efficiency. As conditions change, the compressor continuously adjusts to match demand, delivering strong cooling in high heat while scaling back in milder or damp environments to maintain comfort and prevent freeze-up. An integrated heat pump adds efficient electric heating, reducing furnace runtime and conserving propane. In Auto mode, the system seamlessly manages cooling and heating to maintain your set temperature.
